Kenneth is originally from San Marcos, Texas, but has lived in South Austin since 1976. He started in the title industry as a sales executive in 2005. Prior to that, he worked as a real estate appraiser for the Texas General Land office for 18 years, where he enjoyed traveling his territory of Central Texas helping Texas Veteran's purchase land through the Texas Veteran's Land Board. During this time, he worked with many realtors throughout Central Texas, back in the days before comps came online! Of course, his travels enabled him to also enjoy one of the things we are most famous for in Central Texas – lots of great barbeque!
Working closely with realtors all those years as an appraiser was a great segue way to the title industry! His desire to help his clients grow their business and to ensure that they are connected to a great escrow team is what he enjoys most about his current position as a Sales Executive at Texas National Title. He loves brainstorming ideas with his clients. His appraisal backround means he loves analyzing the market, looking at stats and data and problem solving. Of course, the long term business friendships developed over time are equally important and meaningful to him.
Kenneth has been married to his native South Austin wife Kim since 1986 – they met as juniors at Johnston High School! They enjoy spending time with their three children, Tyler, Jackson and Haley, (and their fourth furry child, Mia). As a family, they enjoy traveling to the Texas Coast, fading the heat for a bit in Colorado during the hot summer, and really just travelling all over Texas, from the Big Bend to the piney woods! He loves cooking for his family, tending to his garden, and just about anything that has to do with being outdoors, especially if it involves any of the beautiful Central Texas creeks, rivers, or lakes.
